Description

The painting "Harmony" from 2021 is an energetic composition that captivates with a powerful combination of red and yellow tones. The intense colours symbolise vitality and passion, while the curved lines and shapes create a lively dynamic. The dominant yellow accents on the red background look like pulsating movements that run through the entire canvas and guide the viewer's eyes.

The abstract lines appear to be in constant dialogue, giving the work a strong emotional depth. The seemingly random lines create room for interpretation and hint at different shapes and figures that are connected to each other. This playfulness in the abstraction invites you to look at the picture for longer and keep discovering new details.

"Harmony" stands for the perfect balance between stillness and movement, between order and chaos. With this work, Heinz Möseneder succeeds in depicting the universal combination of opposites, using the expressive power of colour and form to captivate the viewer.
