Description

"Coluban" is a work full of symbolic depth that takes up a dramatic narrative with a monochrome palette. The central figure, who is in a boat, appears to be a silent protector, carried by a spiritual energy. The boat and the surrounding dark waves symbolise the challenges and uncertainties of life, while the gentle source of light surrounding the figure radiates hope and comfort. The cross in the figure refers to faith and sacrifice, while the reduced colour palette reinforces the expressiveness of the theme.
