Description

In this extraordinary watercolour Iceland - Silence of Eternity, Heinz Möseneder has created a profound, mystical landscape painted entirely in shades of blue. The figure in the foreground, wrapped in a meditative pose, looks like a pilgrim pausing before the immeasurable vastness and depth of nature and the spiritual dimension. The flowing forms and subtle contrasts convey a sense of solitude and reflection. Möseneder's masterful watercolour technique makes the scene glow and at the same time radiates a quiet sublimity that immerses the viewer in a spiritual world of thought.
