Description

This work from the "Rose Cycle" depicts the rose in a dynamic and abstract composition. The white lines outlining the blossom stand in exciting contrast to the intense red and yellow tones of the background, which is kept in lively, swirling movements. The shapes and colours symbolise the energy and growth that a rose carries within itself. The flower seems to pulsate, as if it were in constant development. This abstract and modern interpretation of the rose unfolds a powerful presence that radiates both harmony and dynamism.
