Description

This work from the "Rose Cycle" presents the rose in an abstract and geometric depiction. The clear red lines draw an interwoven structure reminiscent of the multi-layered petals of a rose. The dominant yellow tones create an intense luminosity, while the red accents lend depth and dynamism. The geometric shapes give the flower a modern, almost cubist appearance. The composition invites the viewer to experience the complex beauty and structure of the rose in a completely new way.
