depiction - it tells of a profound history. The ochre-coloured structures, which appear like rocks shaped by wind and water, symbolise the jagged wounds of a colonial era that shaped and often destroyed the indigenous culture of Latin America. The curved lines and organic shapes seem like an echo of a lost time in which the indigenous peoples lived in harmony with nature before this harmony was disrupted by conquest and exploitation.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f2cc8a9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f2cc8a9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The powerful colours and textures are reminiscent of the barren beauty of the coastal regions of South America, but they also carry the shadows of a dark past. The work seems to carry a narrative of oppression, cultural loss and, at the same time, resistance and resilience.
