The work "Ovid I" by Heinz Möseneder is an impressive combination of oil and acrylic painting that captures the boundless energy and depth of the myth. It was considered unsellable for decades and has only now been made accessible to a wider audience. The painting's source of inspiration lies in the Roman poet Ovid's "Metamorphoses", a work that describes the incessant transformation and power of nature and the gods.

The painting depicts a dynamic scene of flowing blue and white tones that evoke the impression of water and wind - a homage to eternal change. The curved shapes and transparency of the layers create a movement reminiscent of ocean waves, while the sky lies like a veil over the composition. This dynamic reflects the essence of metamorphosis: the constant change of form and state.

Effect in rooms:

"Ovid I" adds extraordinary depth and elegance to any room. In a living room, it can adorn the centre wall and create an atmosphere of serenity and space with its calming blue tones. In a study, the picture encourages reflection and inspiration by evoking the idea of change and creativity. Thanks to its imposing size and intense colour dynamics, it casts a spell over the viewer and lends any room a special presence.
