In this work, Heinz Möseneder combines the structure of the rocks with the soft form of human figures. The superficially drawn rocks appear like sculptures that fit into the natural context of a vast landscape. The earthy tones of the ground contrast with the soft blue tones of the sky, while the fine lines of the figures lend the picture a subtle, organic movement. The watercolor technique, combined with fine drawing, lends the work a transparency and vibrancy that foregrounds the harmony between nature and man.
