Description

The work on display by Heinz Möseneder captivates with its intense colour scheme, in which red is the dominant colour. The artist has created an abstract, multi-layered picture that is subtly enriched by the use of fine, yellowish-golden lines and delicate outlines. The forms in the picture look like shadowy figures or beings that create a mystical, spiritual atmosphere.

The composition is structured by vertical and horizontal lines that could possibly symbolise a cross, which lends the work a sacred note. Various symbols and signs are recognisable in the lower half of the picture, which appear like a mysterious script and give the work an additional dimension of mystery and depth.

The monochrome colour palette reinforces the expression of intensity and passion, while the varying texture and subtle shading of the lines lend the picture a lively dynamism. The red frame integrates harmoniously into the overall work of art and underlines the effect of the dominant colour.

To summarise, this work is a combination of spirituality, abstraction and symbolism that appeals both emotionally and intellectually.
